CB Trails Mountain Biking: Kebler Pass Wagon Trail: easier intermediate ride

Information & Conditions: Kebler Pass Wagon Trail: easier intermediate ride

Updated 7/4/16

Status: Good to Go!

Current Conditions: Summer is here. Have not had any reports on this one but anything that isn't really high (say over 11,000) is ready to go could be some trees down. Please send us an observation if you ride this trail.

Detailed Description:

access Kebler Pass wagon trail 3 1/2 miles out Kebler Pass Road, on the right. This section is flat and smooth and a good way to ride to or back from the Dyke Trail or Lilly lake. It crosses the road near the turn to Irwin, and crosses again after a short stint in the trees, then climbs to the road to Lake Irwin.
To ride it back from the Dyke, look for it on the left 4/10ths mile after crossing the bridge over Anthracite Creek, just after a cattleguard and after the first couple switchbacks. It is signed but somewhat hidden in the willows. this is a great way to get back to Lake Irwin if you are camping up there.
